AHR Expo 2025 – thank you Orlando

AHR Expo 2025 – thank you Orlando

And that’s a wrap on another fantastic AHR Expo, this time at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, the City Beautiful. We must say, it offered a rather pleasant change in temperature and climate for the Computair team, who left the UK behind still plunged in the January gloom.

Richard and Matthew were joined for the first time this year by our Office Manager, Elaine, who has planned and organised Computair’s participation at AHR Expo for nearly 30 years. It’s interesting to compare the planning process – deciding the location and layout of the booth, managing all the logistics, making travel arrangements – with the very different experience of being there and seeing everything first hand. In her own words, ‘It has given me a few ideas of what may be needed for future shows too, if they are possible.’

Final reports from AHR Expo confirm a total of 51,063 attendees, including 11,210 exhibiting companies from 118 countries – a phenomenal turnout. Nothing quite prepares you for the immense size of the Expo, and it was no different for Elaine, who as a first-time attendee was extremely impressed by the scale of the event and by the great number of visitors to the Computair booth. The team were even more than busy than anticipated, especially during the first couple of days of the show, when demand for online software demos was very high.

As in previous years, the Expo also provided an impressive educational schedule, including seminars, panel discussions and podcasts. Topics such as plumbing and mechanical innovations, the use of AI and smart applications and workforce development sat alongside decarbonisation and the transition to low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants.

It’s a unique experience meeting attendees and clients in person, discussing their interests and engaging with their questions. AHR Expo 2025 was no exception, and our Computair experts were delighted by the visitor response. As always, the team made time to enjoy some of the local culture, and a trip to the Kennedy Space Center was a fascinating way to round off another memorable Expo experience.
