WinTADS Lite
WinTADS Lite is an entry level estimating system for pre-engineered Air Handling Units.
A user maintained data base powers the program minimising set-up and maintenance costs.
A project management system is included allowing the operator to generate schedules of
units and to add different products to a tender. Units can be copied from one project
to another to speed up the selection process.
Outputs include a quotation (submittal), covering letter, schedule, scaled and dimensioned sketch and internal detail/breakdown sheet. Psychrometric charts, fan curves and DXF output of the sketch can also be produced.
As with all Computair software, the system has the facility to operate multi-lingually
and has unit of measurement conversion functionality on all numeric inputs.
Where practical, component selections are based upon the supplier’s own DLL or ‘black box’ modules. These are closely and seamlessly integrated into the software to provide accurate and validated selections.
The system does not require any CAD to operate, although links can be made to most popular packages if required.
The fundamental data is held in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for ease of maintenance and Microsoft Word is used as the engine to generate the outputs. PDF format is also available.
The system can be developed to include panelling, manufacturing outputs, links to nesting systems,
more complicated topologies and additional components and functionality. The base program can be
configured and operational in a matter of days to ensure the most efficient return on capital.
Once operational, the program can be evolved in quantified, manageable steps.
