Spares / Products - CompuSpare

compuspare screenshot thumbnail Compuspare is a graphics based spares tool which minimises the chance of supplying an incorrect part to a customer. An affordable software product developed by Computair, it eliminates the tedious process of ordering spare parts or replacement parts via sheets of component numbers or microfiche. It reduces or even eliminates the costs associated with printing & maintaining traditional paper based catalogues, especially when produced to be distributed to clients.

As a separate component or linked to their integrated sales / manufacturing process, CompuSpare enables the distributor or client to access a database and select component spares or sub-assemblies directly from product drawings. Superseding of parts is catered for, as are kitted parts and ancillaries.

compuspare screenshot thumbnail Simply by revealing and clicking on the component, a full specification, pricing and ordering format is revealed and the sale can be concluded electronically. Full colour photographs of the component are shown where applicable.

compuspare screenshot thumbnail Items are added to the 'shopping basket' which generates a word document order form that can be automatically emailed to your spares department. This is not only easier for the operator to find and order the correct item, but ensures the manufacturer distributes the appropriate part.

The data is setup and maintained by the user to minimise on going maintenance work. The software can accept CAD drawings, sketches or photographs and has a special tool which is used to identify areas of diagrams which correspond to order-able parts. Data created for CompuSpare are fully compatible with our WebSpares product, allowing a future upgrade path to full e-commerce and an on-line presence for customers to source your spares. Administrative costs are minimised as is the cost of quality.
